Let’s take a closer look. I originally backed it because it seemed to have “think different” potential…but I was still skeptical that it would be functional in my day to day video editing work. Previously when I thought of a control surface, it was for controlling an audio app. I suggest trying the Quicktime controller first before buying additional ones. Both the Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro controllers can be purchased for $29.99, while a basic Quicktime controller is free. It is now available publicly through the App Store.
